Acting Tips and Techniques
Learn how to land roles and get seen by audiences! You will practice breaking down an audition script through an actor’s eyes, practice cold reading techniques, and prepare 2 audition tapes in different genres, which you will have to take with you once the class ends.

As a result of successfully completing this course, students...
Will be able to:
- Break down a script through the actor’s eyes.
- Identify the journey of a character in a scene or monologue.
- Apply acting tips and techniques during auditions.
Will display the following attitudes/professional behaviors:
- Meet deadlines.
- Come prepared at all times.
- Discuss work using specific and appropriate terminology.
- Contribute to class discussion and critique.
